ResponsibleOhio is a private group advocating for marijuana reform in the Buckeye State. Its aim is to get an initiative onto this November’s general election ballot. Their plan calls for dispensaries to be open to the public as well as a “home grow” provision. Earlier this week, the group sparked controversy when they introduced their new mascot, Buddie. According to Cleveland.com, Nick Lashutka, president of the Ohio Children’s Hospital Association, said he’s shocked that ResponsibleOhio appears to be marketing marijuana to kids before voters even see it on the ballot.
