Alaska is the latest state to legalize marijuana use following Colorado’s lead and making way for a regulated and taxed marijuana market that could start as early as 2016. While adult Alaskans still can’t smoke in public places, they can now possess, use, transport, grow, and give away weed. We take a look at some limits to the law, which isn’t fully implemented yet, and discuss how Alaska natives are trying to regulate the drug locally, in this Lip News clip with Mark Sovel, Elliot Hill, and Jo Ankier.
